D.R. Horton is known as the largest homebuilder in America. They specialize in building a large amount of homes every year (aka, a production builder). The reason this makes a difference to you, is because this is what makes their homes more affordable.
Now, because these are tract-style, inventory homes, there are very few options that you can select for the home. But, that is another reason why they are more affordable.
They are able to build homes with modern floorplans, and with some upgraded features, at competitive prices. They also offer some pretty incredible incentives for buying their homes, which we will talk about a little further down in this post.
