Boerne is located on I-10, just northwest of San Antonio. Boerne is probably one of the most well-known and popular destination suburbs of San Antonio. Some may consider it an outlying town, rather than a suburb because of the distance from San Antonio. But, Boerne is actually part of the San Antonio Metro area. What once was a small Texas town, is now a booming destination city for both families that are moving out of the big cities, and those that are moving to Texas.
