Tammy Dominguez | San Antonio Relocation Specialist and Realtor
Hi, I’m Tammy. I grew up in Seguin, Texas, a small town about 35 miles east of San Antonio. I’ve lived in San Antonio for 20+ years now, and I know what it feels like to figure out a city from scratch, to not know the roads or the neighborhoods or which part of town actually fits the way your family lives.
That experience is a big part of why I do this work the way I do.
I’m a licensed Texas Realtor®, and I live on the far west side of San Antonio (one of the fastest-growing parts of the metro). I work with families relocating here from all over the country. My focus isn’t just finding them a house. It’s helping them find just the right place to land.
A note before you continue: Most realtor about pages are essentially the same (a headshot, a few credentials, and a line about being passionate about helping people). That’s not useful to you. If you’re an out-of-state family trying to figure out who to trust with a major move, you deserve something more honest than that. That’s my goal behind the whole site.
What I Actually Do for Relocating Families
Most buyers who reach out to me aren’t looking for someone to fire off a list of listings. They’re trying to figure out San Antonio, which is a huge, spread-out city with a lot of options and big differences between areas in terms of commute, school quality, neighborhood feel, and daily life.
I start by getting to know your family situation first. Then I go to work explaining the areas: not just the stats, but what it’s actually like to live there. I’ll take you down streets on video, show you where the grocery stores and highways are, walk through school district boundaries, and explain the real tradeoffs between neighborhoods.
This isn’t about finding a home with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths for $450K. Any agent can do that. This is about figuring out whether your family belongs in Boerne or Helotes, Schertz or New Braunfels, a Hill Country small town or a far west San Antonio master-planned community. Those are very different lives, and the wrong choice is an expensive mistake.
I cover every suburbof San Antonio, every Hill Country town near San Antonio, and the small towns all around the city. I cover the far west San Antonio corridor more specifically than most agents in the market. Because I live here and drive it every day, not because I researched it. If a family is weighing Boerne against New Braunfels, or Fair Oaks Ranch against Helotes, or Castroville against La Vernia – I know those differences well enough to actually help you decide.
The resources at livinginsatx.com are built to support that process. You’ll find info on almost every San Antonio suburb, the Hill Country corridor, military relocation, and the buyer education topics that most out-of-state families have to figure out on their own.
I Can Run the Whole Process Remotely
If you’re not in San Antonio yet (which most of my clients aren’t), that’s not a problem.
I facilitate 100% virtual and remote purchases all the time. FaceTime showings, neighborhood walkthroughs on video, builder meetings on your behalf, remote closings. I’ve helped families buy homes in San Antonio from California, Georgia, Colorado, New York, even and everywhere in between, without them setting foot here first.
One client found me on YouTube while researching San Antonio suburbs from out of state, reached out when she first arrived for help with a temporary rental, then worked with me for a year until we found her dream home. She is not the exception. About half of my clients find me through my YouTube channel or Google before they ever reach out. They have already watched me walk neighborhoods, explain commutes, and break down the differences between Boerne and New Braunfels before we ever have a conversation. By the time they call, they already trust me. That is exactly what the channel is built to do.
I am your eyes and ears here until you arrive.

Why LivinginSATX.com Exists
Living in SATX is not a listings portal. It is a resource I built specifically for families who are trying to figure out San Antonio before they make a move. Every suburb guide, every Hill Country breakdown, every commute comparison, every school district overview, every cost of living comparison – these are the questions relocating families are actually asking. I wanted one place where you could go deep on any area, understand the trade-offs, and make a confident decision.
If you are moving from California, Colorado, the Pacific Northwest, New York, Austin, or anywhere else, there is a guide built specifically for your situation. The site exists so that by the time you reach out, you are not starting from zero. You already have the information you need to have a conversation about your move.
When you are ready to talk, I am here.
